Large meteoroids produced by comet 7P/Pons-Winnecke
By using high-sensitivity CCD video devices we have analyzed the activity of the June Bootid (JBO) meteor shower. This monitoring has provided an opportunity to analyze the physico-chemical properties of large meteoroids produced by comet 7P/Pons-Winnecke. The analysis of a fireball produced by a meteoroid with a mass of about 257 kg is presented here.
متن کاملThe nuclei of comets 7 P / Pons - Winnecke
Jupiter Family comets (JFCs) are short period comets which have recently entered the inner solar system, having previously orbited in the Kuiper Belt since the formation of the planets. We used two nights on the 3.6m New Technology Telescope (NTT) at the European Southern Observatory, to obtain V RI photometry of three JFCs; 7P/Pons-Winnecke, 14P/Wolf and 92P/Sanguin. These were observed to be ...

Today, physicians are perhaps the most regulated professionals in the United States, but in 1870, almost all of them were unlicensed. In most jurisdictions, anyone could hang up a shingle and practice medicine. Only the Dakota Territory and Ohio required physicians to register with local authorities. Between 1870 and 1900, the practice of medicine changed dramatically, and by 1900, almost every...
متن کاملEvaluation of incubation temperatures on DNA damages of the Caspian trout (Salmo trutta caspius Kessler, 1877) single cells through developmental stages by Comet assay
Caspian trout (Salmo trutta caspius Kessler, 1877) as endemic migratory fish, possessing great ecological economic and biodiversity value. Among the habitat drivers, temperature related effects on the genome were considered in this research. During the embryonic developmental stages, genomic alterations of single cells were assessed by Comet assay. After artificial propagation of wild broodstoc...

Caspian trout (Salmo trutta caspius Kessler, 1877) is an endemic migratory subspecies in the Caspian Sea, possessing ecologic-economic and biodiversity greatly value. Among habitat factors, temperature and its possible effects on the Caspian trout genome were considered in this research. During Embryonic developmental stages (fertilization–hatching), genomic alterations of single cells were ass...
